The opportunity
South Australian retailer Taste Furniture was running a closing-down sale for its Enfield site and needed to clear out all remaining stock. The goal was to achieve this as quickly as possible, though there was uncertainty about how long it would take.
The results
Within just three weeks Taste had cleared out all of the stock, exceeding expectations.
Remarkably, this was accomplished with a 3.44% allocation of gross turnover to the campaign, showcasing television’s proven return on investment.
The owners of Taste Furniture told Zest they had “woken up to the power of television advertising”. Following the success of the campaign, Zest has since produced a series of corporate television commercials for Taste Furniture’s Summer Campaign and Taste has allocated a healthy budget to continue to deliver strong results.
